  • Hi, I'm Brianne

I’m a Registered Counsellor, I’m a mum and over the past 12 years I’ve lived and worked in Canada, South Korea, Singapore and Australia with children, youth and families across a wide range of services.

Currently, I help Australian parents and caregivers build stronger relationships with themselves and their kids. I love working with parents who have grown up in or escaped from stressful home environments and don’t want to repeat the same patterns with their children.

I’m passionate about working with parents and caregivers to move away from distress, anger, guilt, and anxiety and toward calm, warm and kind interactions with themselves and their kids. I created Be Kind Therapy because I believe that change starts with a decision to be kind to yourself and I am here to show you what that can look like.

"As parents become more aware and emotionally healthy, their children reap the rewards and move toward health as well." -Dan Siegel

If you or your children have childhood experiences that include divorce, emotional or physical neglect, abuse, domestic violence, transient living, addiction or mental illness AND you want to learn how this can affect your parenting currently or in the future, then I want to work with you to provide support, counselling and education.

Adverse Childhood Experiences can be heavy burdens to carry, and if we don’t address them they can have significant impacts on the way we connect and communicate. They can impact our relationships with our partners and our kids. If you want to stop the pattern and learn how to show up differently for the children and young people you care for then reach out, I would love to hear from you.

If you have questions, or concerns please don’t hesitate to ask. There are no silly questions, and no concern is too little.

I look forward to hearing from you soon, in the meantime,

    Take Care.

I believe that every parent has a unique and important story to tell. I also believe that everyone deserves respect and compassion regardless of their circumstances.
